My dentist is a wonderful photographer and I had always coveted the photograph he had behind his desk. One day, I just couldn't help myself and asked if I could borrow it to paint and, to my surprise and delight, he said yes. This is my version of his fantastic photograph.
It is an original, signed watercolor on cold-pressed paper, unframed.
***** As a watercolorist, I take my inspiration from the places I've lived and visited. Many of my paintings were done while living in Florida. Now that I'm living in North Carolina, I can hopefully expand my base to more of the native species of flowers and animals here.
