Windswept Reflections SOLD
Artist
Lil Taylor
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
This painting is more about the reflections than the boats but both are just beautiful, aren't they? I first became really interested in painting reflections with this painting. This signed painting is on cold-pressed Arches paper and unframed.

This painting is really one of the first I did after I finished my bird series, early on. I wanted to attempt boats, seascapes, etc so OF COURSE, I had to tackle something which would about kill me!! ;) This is a beautiful painting and hangs in someone's home in another state and I'm happy because I'm secure in knowing he loves it as much as I and will always take care of it. Thanks, my friend.

It was very worth it, Shane and thank you. The man who bought this painting had it professionally matted (3) and framed. The person he had frame the painting was a professional artist and framer. Her and the people in the shop couldn't believe it was strictly watercolors and they even pulled out a magnifying glass to make sure. It passed. :) Chris, thank you so much for the feature!

Thank you, Shane. This is one of those paintings which falls into the category, "I'll never paint that one again". :)
Sharon Burger
All of your water color boat paintings are awesome. Your work is beautiful but the boats are my favorites.
Lil Taylor replied:
Thanks Sharon. Of course they're the most difficult!! haha But, I am able to refine and use more texture so they're also fun.
