Title
Of Horses and Golden Light SOLD
Artist
Lil Taylor
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
This will be the third in my memory painting as I want to file this one away as I saw him last. This will be the sister painting to "Of Girls and Horses" and the colors are perfect together. He is truly magnificent and even wistful in this painting. This unframed watercolor is painted on heavy 300 lb cold-pressed paper with studio quality paints and is signed, unframed.
It looks like I'm going to have to do a whole series just on the horse. I think next I'll introduce the paint.
Before I send this off, I will be taking a photograph for prints, etc with my other camera which my husband has with him right now. I don't need to send this until Monday so I can increase the pixels tomorrow. This is the same black horse but obviously it's summertime with the golden glow all around up in the mountains of NC.

Thank you so much, Allen. I always love your work too and it goes by so fast, I don't always get them all but I try. Thanks, my friend. And, Juis, how kind of you. I've really gotten to consider you one of my friends here. Thanks to you both.

Lil,This is a wonderful painting of a horse. He looks so real like you can hear his heavy breath. I am very proud of you. You don't have to do it all,I did and I got sick. Give to Lil. Hugs,Marsha vote

Everything about this one and the others in your memory series is so right!. The light is beautiful, as is the sense of motion and being there. Your work is always such a pleasure to view.

I think this horse painted himself. Thank you both. He is just so inspiring, I keep coming back to him and want to show him in a different "light" so to speak. I can't wait to catch my breath and spend some time here checking on what you all have been up to!

Thank you, Sharon. I really hope we can catch up soon. I set two floral paintings aside for this one and in the meantime, I'm working on a family history book for my son in letter and story format. This is going to take me such a long time!! But he's an only child and this is the only way he's going to know the personalities behind the names. It seems like I can't catch my breath though! How are you doing, girl? I miss talking and I hope we can get together soon.
