Description
This is me waiting for Spring as a Tulip. While I want to burst out in glorious yellow, my fellow Tulips are drab and greyish blue, waiting for winter to be over but ever the optimist, I'm already there. This painting is on heavy 300 lb Arches paper and is very beautifully textured in maroons and reds.

Wonderful compliments in this Lil. Like the Sun coming out amongst the clouds or reaching the light at the end of the tunnel. For those of us who live up north this can be very symbolic of waiting for Spring and symbolic for all in that it conjures up hope in gray times...FAV

Thanks you all!! This is just my first so it's shaky. And, for both of you, now that I'm revved back up, I need to get out my new paint order and work on a couple I've been sitting on. When I have a couple minutes, I'm going to see what you've been up to. I checked out the Activity here to try to comment on the new things from my friends and you weren't there but I have not forgotten you, I promise! Happy New Year!!! Sharon, you're going to be so sick of me by the time I'm through!!! lol
