Description
First of all, let me warn you about ever planting a white Bird of Paradise in your front yard because they get absolutely huge and don't look nice. This one is now about 10 feet tall and we moved it to our back where it works well as privacy. Also, the white flowers bloom in odd places on the very thick plant and it's difficult to obtain a picture like if it was an orange or yellow one. However, this was actually blooming on the top instead of in the crook of some thick branches so I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures before I headed back up to the mountains. Still, the flowers are truly beautiful and I felt lucky to get such a great capture. I can only hope I did it justice. I'm freezing today and this flower is warming me up a little.

Thank you, Pamela! The one in my yard in Florida was huge. It was in the front yard but because it got so big, we hauled it to the backyard! Now that I live in NC, I have an indoor one like you but think I'll move it to the deck for summer and see if it blooms! 🤗

Great watercolor! I have 2 white bird of paradise plants that are about 15 feet tall with lots of little ones on the sides. They should get to be around 20 feet tall. I use them between properties for privacy.

Thanks, Sharon! I hope you put them somewhere besides the front yard because prepare for them to get gigantic and look messy.
