Description
This watercolor is of a Leopard resting in the tree limb. It appears to be ignoring us as we watch but make no mistake about it, the leopard is a true jungle cat. Its paws dangle lazily from the large limb it rests upon and the jungle cradles and keeps it safe. This painting is on cold-pressed Arches paper and unframed.

I thought sure I commented on this beautiful Jungle Cat. Well I'll do so now. Lil your work with shading the body of this beautiful leopard is exquisite and layout of spots divine. Such a jungle like feel that even Tarzan could not help but fall in love with it. I love the tree branches and the spectacular canopy over head. The lush greens and dark hues of the background makes your leopard pop out at the viewer. Favorite / Vote

Leopard in a tree. My Tiger Toby would lay like this on the top rail of the doors to my bathtub. I would call her the Tigress that liked to lay like a leopard. Thank you for bringing back fond memories of a wonderful cat.
