Title
California Wildflowers Series I
Artist
Lil Taylor
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
This is an abstract watercolor of some wildflowers I came across hiking in Lassen Volcanic Park. I love the way they blend together and give such a flow of riotous color. It is signed and on paper.
Since posting this, my watercolor was donated to my friend's daughter's auction to earn money at Brandon United Methodist Church for a Dominican trip. This was sold the next year after I donated "Pink Drama" and "Make a Wish". For this one, I allowed her to come over and pick the painting she wanted. This was her pick. Even though it's sold, the money went for a good cause.

Lil, I LOVE this painting! Gorgeous colors!
Lil Taylor replied:
Thanks again, Liz. This is an "accident" painting. You know, it started as one thing and ended up this colorful extravaganza. haha Interestingly enough, I donated it to my church for a fundraiser to send the youth to Dominican Republic. I do that every year. Thank you so much!
